This handmade wooden American flag is crafted entirely from reclaimed whiskey and bourbon barrels — the first whiskey barrel American flag ever made, and the original patented design that started our company. Every piece carries a one-of-a-kind character no two flags share. The light stripes are the natural outer wood of the barrel, and the dark stripes are the charred interior where the whiskey once aged. This Betsy Ross design honors the very first American flag — its thirteen stars ringed in a circle to represent the original colonies and the unity and pride of the new republic.
