This handmade wooden American flag is crafted entirely from fallen pines trees that once surrounding the world-renowned Pinehurst No. 2 championship golf course. When Hurricane Matthew swept through the North Carolina Sandhills in 2018 and uprooted several hundred trees at Pinehurst, we hauled the logs, milled the wood and piece by piece these works of art came to life. Each one-of-a-kind flag tells it’s own story of American craftsmanship.
At 25" x 13", the Short Leaf is a compact flag, designed for offices, studies, entryways, and smaller walls. It delivers the same American craftsmanship as our larger flags in a more approachable size, and makes a meaningful handmade gift for veterans, retirements, housewarmings, and patriotic occasions.
